I'm subscribed to alot of booktubers.If you didn't know,I go on youtube everyday to check for new videos.One of the new videos were from katytastic. So,I was watching one of her videos and she held up the book
Obsidian. I totally forgot what she said,but I remember it was something positive on Obsidian.Since she said something good about this book(Sorry!I forgot...),I decided to pick it up at my local library.
Now THAT was a
HUGE mistake.I didn't have much time on hand and every second of my life,I was thinking about this book,and how it'll end and what will happen.That's something I love about this series - how Jennifer makes this series so unpredictable on the first three books.I have yet to read the 4th.

Amazing Book.Right off the 1st chapter,it already captured my mind and hit one of my top favorites.This book left a MASSIVE cliffhanger.Oh,my god,I CAN'T wait for my hands to get a hold of the next book,Origin.Omg.What'll happen?!Anyways,Back to Opal..I already mentioned this previously,but the storyline is amazing and unpredictable,and how Jennifer develops the characters is astonishing!I devoured this book from page to page,I don't even know how to explain this book.It's just too AMAZING!

Omg,I don't know what to say about the ending.OMG.SO FREAKING SAD.Okay,Let me start from the beginning.And by that,I mean a short reading process and a spoiler review.
Page 54 - Daemon shot forward,his voice harsh. "Yuo had no right to make those kinds of promises to
my brother.He's not
your family."
Seriously Daemon?Just wow.That was harsh.I don't know what to say to Katy.
Page 175 - Daemon tried to get rid of the smile but failed."I love when your claws comes out."
Awww,Now I love you Daemon.Hearts for days and days for Daemon. :D
Page 287 - He pulled back,eyes searching mine."Will you go to prom with me,Kat?"
GAH.OMG.I DIED.Why couldn't I be asked out?Hahaha.
Page 381 - Daemon's eyes met mine and the look in them,the horror in his extraordinary green eyes cracked my heat into a million useless pieces.
Guess what Katy?Guess what Jennifer?It cracked my heart into a million useless pieces too.

OMG.NO freaking way.NO.NO.NO.This CAN'T be happening!NOOOOOOOOOOOO.DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW JENNIFER?!DO YOU?!I NEED MY HANDS ON ORIGIN RIGHT NOW.
Spoiler Review :
When...When..Omg,I can't even...OMGGGG.Why did you have to separate them?Too sad too sad.But that creates the action.I can't wait to read Origin.I wonder if it'll be told by Daemon's perspective,because I think reading from Katy's perspective will kind-of be boring except not in some parts.Okay,Let's start from where Daemon asked Katy out to prom.Omg.I screamed of happiness,finally Daemon decides to ask Katy to the senior prom.Next thing,Did they have sex?!Next thing,Seriously.Did Will really try to kill Katy?The most stupidest thing I've ever read because Will,you know.. is so illogical.Also,When Katy is on the wrong side,the side with the Arum while Daemon is on the right/other side,omg.I died.I died.I died.My heart died.My heart reached out for them.Seriously,It went out of my chest and into the book.Hahaha.I wish.The characters and the storyline is so well developed,better than any other book I've ever read.
(No Spoiler)What I think about the characters :
- Daemon : Attractive,Hot,rude at times,but sometimes,I like his rude side better than his sweet side.It's nice how Jennifer still puts in some rude scenes with Daemon.It makes me feel so good reading that the old Daemon is still here.
- Blake : Excuse Me?Do you really need me to explain?I don't give a damn if he likes Katy or not.He really is a son of a Gun.Seriously?
- Will : Don't even make me go there.Seriously.
- Dee : Dee..I like Dee as a character.I mean,she's been through alot of stuff,I don't expect her not to be a beeep about it.
- Katy : I like her as the main character.I love how J.L.A didn't make her perfect and all that crap.
- Andrew : I'm starting to like him,not like I never did in the first place when he told Katy off in Onyx.
- Ash : Okay-ish.I really do have nothing to say about her other than I'm starting to gain a friendship with her.Haha.
